Leapfrog Institutes is part of the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development

The Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD) is a multidisciplinary unit, created in 2009, combining programs formerly housed in the Departments of Educational Policy and Administration, and Work and Human Resource Education. OLPD is home to 47 faculty and staff serving several hundred students from across the world in undergraduate programs, professional development learning opportunities, and graduate programs.

Our faculty conduct cutting-edge research on topics such as girls’ education in developing countries, strategies for human resource development, intercultural communication, scientific integrity, and effective strategies for leading school and organizational change. We collaborate with educators, policy makers, and business leaders in preparing students to thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
